by Kasai, featuring doublet lens design incorporating extra-low-dispersion
FPL51 optical glass material. Despite its rather short focal length, this
ED lens offers excellent chromatic aberration correction with minimal color
error from short to long wavelengths. The spherical aberration is also
effectively corrected, yielding sufficient sharpness up to high power range.
All the surfaces are broadband multi-coated, ensuring >99.5% high transmission
rate and exceptional image clarity. Instead of a conventional separated
design, both the lens elements are dared to be cemented so that the lens
itself can be handled easily without a lens cell. Whole the side wall is
carefully mat blackened, eliminating reflection flares. This unique ED
